You do that. Just make sure not to die, son.
to make coloring faster you could copy and paste the outline in a new layer underneath your finished outline so that you don't have to constantly 'underline' colors for fills
i actually do that sometimes. but when i do and i actually start to shade, when im done with the darker strokes these white spots appear close to the lines above. normally i just color/shade on the same layer as the linework but yeah.
