2009 was
a terrible year
2009 was the year that i truly realized that as time went on, the newgrounds userbase would get progressively worse. peoples' standards for animation and humor are at an alltime low where quality isnt even a necessity, as long as you can reach to the main users of this site: prepubescent kids. when i was maybe 11-13, my sense of quality was awful. but part of growing up is getting more mature.
now i'm not saying that all of the newgrounds userbase is horrid. i mean there are some not-so-gay people on this site. but the main userbase hates these people. because they talk differently about what they like, and as a very young child i hated when people disagreed with me. now, this usually results in hilarious reviews/pm's, many of which i have gotten in the past 2 years ive been on this site.
i've met tom fulp in person, and i have to say he is a very nice person. i can only imagine a sort of burden he must have, knowing that his site is infested with these people. then again, maybe he doesn't. i don't know, nor do i really care. he can manage his site however he feels fit, but besides a few site add-ons i've seen no general improvement in this place.
i've made lots of friends this year, and i have improved a lot as a person. now im going to tell you straight up i was a fucking faggot. i was the most massive gay on the entire planet and if i could go back in time and punch myself and tell me to grow up i would do it.
tl;dr 2009 sucked camel.
in other news, for the past +month i have been working on a big film. unfortunately, my flash broke for good. it is in cs4 format and it is impossible for me to get back cs4. maybe after things settle down more in january i can finish it and submit it.
